In March 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work To Edwin Booth by Nicholas Alden Brooks for USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,069.60). This price was achieved in the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house.
