The work La Pâtisserie (The Pastry) by Nguyen Phan Chanh was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 4,750,000.00 (€ 538,036.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nguyen Phan Chanh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Couturières (Seamstresses at Work), which sold at auction in December 2020 for HKD 10,930,000.00 (€ 1,152,878.17).

Die Arbeit La Pâtisserie (The Pastry) von Nguyen Phan Chanh kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 4.750.000,00 (€ 538.036,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Für andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Phan Chanh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Couturières (Seamstresses at Work) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für HKD 10.930.000,00 (€ 1.152.878,17) versteigert wurde.
