Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York, which included the work Birch Pond (Veneer Centre) by Neil Raitt. The price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,283.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Neil Raitt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cabinectomy in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,137.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Birch Pond (Veneer Centre) von Neil Raitt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.283,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Neil Raitt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cabinectomy im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.137,66).
