Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountain Waterfall (Hot Pink) by Neil Raitt was sold in the Wired: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,672.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Neil Raitt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cabinectomy in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,137.66).
