Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction The Hoarder: Part III, which included this untitled work by Neil Raitt. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,208.16), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Neil Raitt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cabinectomy in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,137.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Hoarder: Part III durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Neil Raitt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 4.208,16) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Neil Raitt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cabinectomy im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.137,66).
