Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Process Art (Hold on Tight) by Nathan Mabry. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,000.00 (€ 14,061.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Nathan Mabry have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2014 the work It Is What It Is (Tongue in Cheek) was auctioned for USD 32,500.00 (€ 25,736.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Process Art (Hold on Tight) von Nathan Mabry zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.000,00 (€ 14.061,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Nathan Mabry konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2014 die Arbeit It Is What It Is (Tongue in Cheek) für USD 32.500,00 (€ 25.736,46) versteigert.
