Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nathan Mabry could be acquired at Christies in London in April 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open Online auction, the work In Your Face (Numbers 17-19) changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 569.45) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nathan Mabry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work It Is What It Is (Tongue in Cheek) in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 25,736.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nathan Mabry konnte im April 2018 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open Online wechselte die Arbeit In Your Face (Numbers 17-19) für GBP 500,00 (€ 569,45) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nathan Mabry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit It Is What It Is (Tongue in Cheek) im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 25.736,46).
