The work A Very Touching Moment (Pitching a Tent) by Nathan Mabry was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in February 2016. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,813.77) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nathan Mabry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work It Is What It Is (Tongue in Cheek), which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 25,736.46).

Die Arbeit A Very Touching Moment (Pitching a Tent) von Nathan Mabry wurde im Februar 2016 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.813,77) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nathan Mabry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit It Is What It Is (Tongue in Cheek) beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 25.736,46) versteigert wurde.
