In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work All Things Truly Wicked Start from Innocence by Natee Utarit. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 819,000.00 (€ 98,166.23), 64% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Natee Utarit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work GOD in May last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 478,684.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit All Things Truly Wicked Start from Innocence von Natee Utarit zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 819.000,00 (€ 98.166,23) und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Natee Utarit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit GOD im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 478.684,93).
