Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Innocence Is Overrated by Natee Utarit. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 580,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 635,000.00 (€ 74,352.01). Admittedly, works by Natee Utarit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work GOD in May last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 478,684.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Innocence Is Overrated von Natee Utarit zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 580.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 635.000,00 (€ 74.352,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Natee Utarit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit GOD im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 478.684,93).
