Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Natee Utarit achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. In the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale auction, the work The Private Expectation of God and the Common Reason of Investment sold for HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 369,636.96) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Natee Utarit; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot GOD sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 478,684.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Natee Utarit erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit The Private Expectation of God and the Common Reason of Investment für HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 369.636,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.500.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Natee Utarit; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit GOD im Mai letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 478.684,93).
