Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2002 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Babe Ruth Bows Out by Nat Fein. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 7,170.00 (€ 7,256.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Nat Fein have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2000 the work Babe Ruth Bows Out was auctioned for USD 11,162.50 (€ 13,154.02).

Im Oktober 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Babe Ruth Bows Out von Nat Fein zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 7.170,00 (€ 7.256,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Nat Fein konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2000 die Arbeit Babe Ruth Bows Out für USD 11.162,50 (€ 13.154,02) versteigert.
