In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Untitled (Mother And Child) by Narayan Shridhar Bendre. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,609.58), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Narayan Shridhar Bendre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Three Women) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 194,350.87).

Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Mother And Child) von Narayan Shridhar Bendre zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.609,58) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Narayan Shridhar Bendre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Three Women) im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 194.350,87).
