Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mother and Child by Narayan Shridhar Bendre was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 52,920.00 (€ 45,065.15). Admittedly, works by Narayan Shridhar Bendre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Three Women) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 194,350.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mother and Child von Narayan Shridhar Bendre kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 52.920,00 (€ 45.065,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Narayan Shridhar Bendre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Three Women) im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 194.350,87).
