The »bidding war« ended at USD 189,000.00 (€ 193,192.27), 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Narayan Shridhar Bendre; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Three Women) sold at auction in September 2021 with the realized price of USD 225,000.00 (€ 194,350.87).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Women on Terrace) von Narayan Shridhar Bendre wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 189.000,00 (€ 193.192,27) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Narayan Shridhar Bendre; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled (Three Women) im September 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 194.350,87).
