In September 2021 Christies held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (Women Picking Fruit) by Narayan Shridhar Bendre. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 137,500.00 (€ 118,769.97). Other works by Narayan Shridhar Bendre have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 225,000.00 (€ 194,350.87) in September 2021 for the work Untitled (Three Women).
