Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2016 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Chongqing VI (Sunday Afternoon) by Nadav Kander. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,989.36). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nadav Kander - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality, which sold at auction in May 2018 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,044.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2016 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chongqing VI (Sunday Afternoon) von Nadav Kander zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.989,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nadav Kander mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.044,88) versteigert wurde.
