Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Elizabeth with hands on shoulders, 2010; Michael curled with white mouse, 2010 by Nadav Kander for GBP 500.00 (€ 560.61). This price was achieved in the auction Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nadav Kander achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality in May 2018 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,044.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Elizabeth with hands on shoulders, 2010; Michael curled with white mouse, 2010 von Nadav Kander für GBP 500,00 (€ 560,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nadav Kander erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.044,88).
