Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nadav Kander could be acquired at Phillips in London in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Chongqing VI (Sunday Afternoon), Chongqing Municipality from Yangtze – The Long River changed hands for GBP 4,445.00 (€ 5,150.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nadav Kander have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality in May 2018 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,044.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nadav Kander konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Chongqing VI (Sunday Afternoon), Chongqing Municipality from Yangtze – The Long River für GBP 4.445,00 (€ 5.150,79) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nadav Kander auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.044,88).
