In October 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality from Yangtze – The Long River by Nadav Kander. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,940.00 (€ 20,723.68), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nadav Kander; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality sold at auction in May 2018 with the realized price of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,044.88).

Im Oktober 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality from Yangtze – The Long River von Nadav Kander zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 23.940,00 (€ 20.723,68) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nadav Kander; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality im Mai 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.044,88).
