This artwork by Nabil Nahas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November 2021. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session auction, the work There’s Only Room for You sold for USD 94,500.00 (€ 83,724.64) - well above the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nabil Nahas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November last year for GBP 170,100.00 (€ 197,107.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nabil Nahas erzielte im November 2021 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session wurde die Arbeit There’s Only Room for You für USD 94.500,00 (€ 83.724,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nabil Nahas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für GBP 170.100,00 (€ 197.107,06) versteigert wurde.
