This artwork by Nabil Nahas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in November this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction, the work Orion sold for GBP 113,400.00 (€ 131,405.94) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nabil Nahas; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in November last year with the realized price of GBP 170,100.00 (€ 197,107.06).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Nabil Nahas erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art wurde die Arbeit Orion für GBP 113.400,00 (€ 131.405,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nabil Nahas; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 170.100,00 (€ 197.107,06).
