Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Figure with Still Life by Moshe Mokady was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 1,764.00 (€ 1,590.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshe Mokady achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Through an Open Window in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 188,500.00 (€ 140,117.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Figure with Still Life von Moshe Mokady kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.764,00 (€ 1.590,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moshe Mokady erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Through an Open Window im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 188.500,00 (€ 140.117,45).
