Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 65,500.00 (€ 49,363.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Moshe Mokady - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape Through an Open Window, which sold at auction in November 2011 for USD 188,500.00 (€ 140,117.45).
