Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,600.00 (€ 12,851.14). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Monique Prieto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pedestrian, which sold at auction in November 2000 for USD 25,850.00 (€ 29,733.15).

Die Arbeit Gridlock von Monique Prieto wurde im März 2006 in der Auktion first open - Post War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.600,00 (€ 12.851,14) einen neuen Besitzer.
