Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Orange You Gold by Monique Prieto was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction auction at Phillips in March this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,096.00 (€ 5,607.06) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Monique Prieto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pedestrian in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 25,850.00 (€ 29,733.15).

Die Arbeit Orange You Gold von Monique Prieto wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.096,00 (€ 5.607,06) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
