This artwork by Monique Prieto achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in February 2018. In the New Now auction, the work Orange You Glad sold for USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,284.01) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Monique Prieto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pedestrian, which sold at auction in November 2000 for USD 25,850.00 (€ 29,733.15).

Für andere Arbeiten von Monique Prieto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pedestrian beobachtet, die im November 2000 für USD 25.850,00 (€ 29.733,15) versteigert wurde.
