Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work KINDER by Miriam Cahn. The price achieved of USD 37,800.00 (€ 35,714.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Miriam Cahn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work o.t. in October this year with an auction result of HKD 2,286,000.00 (€ 276,448.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit KINDER von Miriam Cahn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 35.714,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miriam Cahn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit o.t. im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.286.000,00 (€ 276.448,52).
