Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Mira Schendel. The price achieved of USD 187,500.00 (€ 177,254.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mira Schendel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, From The Series Droguinhas (Little Nothings) in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,512,500.00 (€ 1,346,119.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mira Schendel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 177.254,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mira Schendel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, From The Series Droguinhas (Little Nothings) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.512.500,00 (€ 1.346.119,62).
