Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mira Schendel was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,420.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mira Schendel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, From The Series Droguinhas (Little Nothings) in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,512,500.00 (€ 1,346,119.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mira Schendel wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.420,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mira Schendel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled, From The Series Droguinhas (Little Nothings) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.512.500,00 (€ 1.346.119,62).
