A top price for Mira Schendel - as previously expected
The work Untitled, From The Series Droguinhas (Little Nothings) by Mira Schendel was sold in the Contemporary Art Evening Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2017. The price achieved of USD 1,512,500.00 (€ 1,346,119.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200,000.00 – 1,800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled, From The Series Droguinhas (Little Nothings) is the most expensive artwork by Mira Schendel that we have observed at auctions so far.
