In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Rotation by Mikhail Shvartsman. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 62,500.00 (€ 71,175.84), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Shvartsman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808], which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 192,000.00 (€ 284,633.11).

Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rotation von Mikhail Shvartsman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 71.175,84) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Shvartsman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 192.000,00 (€ 284.633,11) versteigert wurde.
