Auction result well in line with expectations
The work First Hierature by Mikhail Shvartsman was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 59,333.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Mikhail Shvartsman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 192,000.00 (€ 284,633.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit First Hierature von Mikhail Shvartsman wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 59.333,95) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikhail Shvartsman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 192.000,00 (€ 284.633,11).
