Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ieratura by Mikhail Shvartsman was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. It changed hands for a price of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 97,627.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Shvartsman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808], which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 192,000.00 (€ 284,633.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ieratura von Mikhail Shvartsman wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 97.627,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Shvartsman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 192.000,00 (€ 284.633,11) versteigert wurde.
