In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Key by Mikhail Shvartsman. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,286.48), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mikhail Shvartsman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 192,000.00 (€ 284,633.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Key von Mikhail Shvartsman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.286,48) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikhail Shvartsman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 192.000,00 (€ 284.633,11).
