In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included this untitled work by Mikhail Shvartsman. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,394.74), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Shvartsman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 192,000.00 (€ 284,633.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mikhail Shvartsman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.394,74) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Shvartsman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 192.000,00 (€ 284.633,11).
