Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mike Disfarmer could be acquired at Bonhams in London in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs Now The Collector's Edition auction, the work Untitled (Mother and Child) changed hands for USD 960.00 (€ 871.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mike Disfarmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Pals with Cigarettes in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,857.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mike Disfarmer konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs Now The Collector's Edition wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Mother and Child) für USD 960,00 (€ 871,14) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mike Disfarmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Pals with Cigarettes im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.857,06).
