In the The American Landscape, Black and White Photographs from The Collection of Bruce and Nancy Berman auction, the work Heber Springs, Arkansas, c. 1940-1945 sold for USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,651.25) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mike Disfarmer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Two Pals with Cigarettes sold at auction in June 2021 with the realized price of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,857.06).
