Admittedly, works by Mike Disfarmer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Pals with Cigarettes in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,857.06).

Die Arbeit Heber Springs, Arkansas c. 1940-1945 von Mike Disfarmer kam im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 2.868,00) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mike Disfarmer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Pals with Cigarettes im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.857,06).
