It achieved a price of GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,180.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michiel van Musscher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Interior With A Young Girl, Seated At A Table Covered With An Indian Carpet And Reading A Letter, Attended By A Negro Page in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 456,000.00 (€ 350,823.20).

Die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, standing three-quarter length, in a landscape von Michiel van Musscher kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.180,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michiel van Musscher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Interior With A Young Girl, Seated At A Table Covered With An Indian Carpet And Reading A Letter, Attended By A Negro Page im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 456.000,00 (€ 350.823,20).
