Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Old Masters: Part I, which included the work Venice: San Giorgio Maggiore, The Giudecca Beyond by Michele Marieschi. The price achieved of USD 545,000.00 (€ 476,356.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michele Marieschi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venice, The Bacino Di San Marco Looking Towards The Palazzo Ducale And The Piazzetta in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,210,500.00 (€ 2,788,135.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Masters: Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venice: San Giorgio Maggiore, The Giudecca Beyond von Michele Marieschi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 545.000,00 (€ 476.356,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michele Marieschi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Venice, The Bacino Di San Marco Looking Towards The Palazzo Ducale And The Piazzetta im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.210.500,00 (€ 2.788.135,51).
