Sold at the lower estimate price
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work An Architectural Capriccio With Figures Beside A River by Michele Marieschi. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,469.00) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Marieschi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, The Bacino Di San Marco Looking Towards The Palazzo Ducale And The Piazzetta in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,210,500.00 (€ 2,788,135.51).
