Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michele Marieschi could be acquired at Christies in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Masters Evening Sale auction, the work Campo San Giovanni e Paolo, Venice changed hands for GBP 189,000.00 (€ 213,362.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Marieschi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, The Bacino Di San Marco Looking Towards The Palazzo Ducale And The Piazzetta in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,210,500.00 (€ 2,788,135.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
