Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work A capriccio of classical ruins with travellers and goats by a river, a town beyond; and An architectural capriccio with a temple and elegantly dressed figures by a river by Michele Marieschi for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 44,558.11). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Marieschi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, The Bacino Di San Marco Looking Towards The Palazzo Ducale And The Piazzetta in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,210,500.00 (€ 2,788,135.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A capriccio of classical ruins with travellers and goats by a river, a town beyond; and An architectural capriccio with a temple and elegantly dressed figures by a river von Michele Marieschi für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 44.558,11) erwerben.
