Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Dialogue avec L'ange by Michel Mouffe for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,595.02). This price was achieved in the auction Post War & Contemporary Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Michel Mouffe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fire Ball in December this year with an auction result of EUR 19,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dialogue avec L'ange von Michel Mouffe für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.595,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michel Mouffe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fire Ball im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.200,00.
