Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Antre V by Michel Mouffe was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2000. The price achieved of GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,381.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,500.00 – 6,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Mouffe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fire Ball, which sold at auction in December this year for EUR 19,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Antre V von Michel Mouffe kam im Juni 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.287,50 (€ 8.381,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.500,00 – 6.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Michel Mouffe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fire Ball beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für EUR 19.200,00 versteigert wurde.
