Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Belgian Topique No.6 by Michel Mouffe was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in June 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,625.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Mouffe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fire Ball, which sold at auction in December this year for EUR 19,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Belgian Topique No.6 von Michel Mouffe wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.625,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Michel Mouffe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fire Ball beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für EUR 19.200,00 versteigert wurde.
