Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Triptyque - 1987 by Michel Mouffe. The price achieved of EUR 9,184.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Mouffe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fire Ball, which sold at auction in December this year for EUR 19,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Triptyque - 1987 von Michel Mouffe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.184,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Michel Mouffe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fire Ball beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für EUR 19.200,00 versteigert wurde.
