Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Michael Staniak was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2015. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,399.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Staniak - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work IMG_885 (holographic), which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,532.86).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michael Staniak kam im September 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.399,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael Staniak mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit IMG_885 (holographic) beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.532,86) versteigert wurde.
