This artwork by Meyer Vaisman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2013. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work The Banner Of The Amnesiacs sold for GBP 16,875.00 (€ 19,913.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Meyer Vaisman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Souvenir sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of USD 21,250.00 (€ 20,119.30).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Meyer Vaisman erzielte im April 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit The Banner Of The Amnesiacs für GBP 16.875,00 (€ 19.913,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Meyer Vaisman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Souvenir im November 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 20.119,30).
